Van Doorne adds automated time capture to its existing time entry system

Van Doorne is a full service firm with over 230 lawyers, civil law notaries and tax specialists, working in multidisciplinary teams for Dutch and international companies, commercial and financial service providers, semi public organisations and government agencies.

The firm needed an addition to its existing time entry system. That system could not automatically track the time lawyers spent during the day, which meant manual work and a loss of accuracy, consistency and insight. TIQ Time answers that with automated capture and time entry suggestions, promoting consistent and accurate timekeeping across the firm.

In January 2023, Sjoerd Kamerbeek became Managing Partner and made time registration a priority. He identified TIQ as the preferred provider, influenced by TIQ’s implementations at leading law firms across Europe, its modern and intuitive interface, and its integrations with major practice management systems.

“Registering billable hours is crucial, but it is equally important to have a reliable overview of time spent across the firm. TIQ Time has become a catalyst for improving and automating our time capturing processes. More lawyers now register their time daily, guided by the software’s suggestions.”
