RP Legal & Tax is an independent Italian law and tax firm founded in 1949, with seven offices throughout Italy and more than 130 legal professionals across 24 sector specific departments.
In many firms time capture is still manual, prone to error, and a direct cause of leakage and lost revenue. RP Legal & Tax searched the legal technology market and found TIQ Time. After a demo, the partner in charge of IT concluded the decision was straightforward. Implementation followed in the first quarter of 2021 and the application was up and running within two weeks.
Adoption was left to each lawyer rather than mandated. When the firm later replaced its 15 year old practice management system, more lawyers moved to TIQ Time, since everyone had to learn something new anyway. TIQ's support team worked directly with the firm's IT team and the new vendor to resolve integration issues quickly. A Microsoft Teams integration followed, which matters for a firm that runs internal and client communication through Teams.
